♥ STELENA ♥

"We met. We talked. It was epic."

Hey bishes!!!! Ryan here from the blog Dream A Little Dream Of Polish! I can't tell y'all how f*ckin excited I am to be doing a guest post on my favorite bish, Kristen's, blog! I love Kristen, she is my girl & she named a franken after me, "Bitchface".  So I couldn't be more honored to be doing a guest post for my sister! Now I am a newbie TVD addict....THE VAMPIRE DIARIES!!!! Just watched 3 seasons in less than 3 weeks & I can't get enough.  Seeing as almost every mani I do involves some sort of divine theme & inspiration, I couldn't think of a better mani to do than a TVD mani!

As you can also see, I am a hardcore diehard Stelena shipper!!!! STEFAN + ELENA = the most perfect pure epic forever love.  I don't care what happens or has happened since Klaus compelled to become The Ripper again & turn off his humanity, I will always love Stefan.  Even Klaus said, "...that kind of love never dies" & her bff Caroline told her "Stefan is your epic love." So far Stelena has had quite the obstacles, Damon being a very prominent part of this love triangle.  He loves Elena & she cares about him too, but I don't think it's the same depth/level of love Stelena has.  I don't think Stelena's love is over but I also don't think it's seen the end of trials & tribulations.  For the mani, I did a jelly sammich of grey OPI "My Pointe Exactly" (from the NYC Ballet Collection) & Milani "Red" glitter.  On the ring fingers, I did an accent nail of water marbling with red, black & grey (colors used: Ulta "Snow White", Revlon "Stiletto", Essie "Forever Yummy", & Essie "Master Plan").  I'm not happy with my water marbling bc I'm usually badass at marbling.  But this was my 1st jelly sammich & i like it!  I chose the grey jelly to represent the 'grey matter' in Stelena's relationship, the unresolved, the trials, Damon & the unclear.  The red glitter obviously represents the central theme of TVD - blood. Stefans struggle to control his thirst for human blood. Klaus' desire for Elena the Doppleganger's blood to create an army of hybrids. Not killing the originals bloodline....etc.  It's quite the vicious cycle! And that's why I LOVE IT!!!! Alright, alright on with the show!

I especially love the marbling design below on my left hand
because it looks like the top of a heart being pierced...do you see it?

ohhhhhh my gosh how i love Stefan....

So what do you think of this TVD themed mani?? Team Delena or Stelena? Why?
Haha! again gotta thank my all-time favorite Bishy McBishBish, Kristen, for allowing me to corrupt her blog with all my Crazy McCrayCray-ness!! Hope y'all enjoyed it! MWAH! XoXoXo ♥

Tinker Bell

Happy Friday! My manicure today is super simple! Temporary Tattoo nails.

First I applied 2 coats of Confetti Wedding White. I then cut up my temp tattoo's so they would properly fit
each nail with little overlap. I chose Tinker Bell tattoo's. After cutting each tattoo to fit each nail, one by one I placed it on my nail then gently. I then covered the tattoo with a very wet (not damp) paper towel. After holding the paper towel on my nail for about 20 seconds I removed the backing. I topped off with 2 coats of SV.

This manicure was very simple, and if you can find a cool design you should definitely give it  try!

Lalaloopsy Doll Nails

Good Evening Ladies! Tonight I was browsing YouTube for some nail art inspiration and came across a tutorial by Totallycoolnails for Lalaloopsy Doll nails! I tried to set up a link and no matter what i did it just wouldn't work. So if you'd like to see the tutorial just YouTube Lalaloopsy nails, or Totallycoolnails for more of her nail designs.

This is my daughter Ava last Halloween. She loves her some
Lalaloopsy!
Below I used Revlon Pink Lingerie on my index, middle, and pinky finger. The used Finger Paints Watermelon Watercolor for the stripes. On top I used Pure Ice Don't You Wish for a little sparkle.
For my ring finger I used a base of Revlon Bare Bones. For her hair I used Confetti Bell of the Ball, and ChG Grape Juice to highlight. Black striper for the eyes and Scotch Hot Toddy for the mouth and beauty mark. I used Revlon Pink Lingerie again for the cheeks, and NoMiss South Beach Red for her bow.

Below I used the same base and accent colors except for the hair. For this Lalaloopsy I used ChG Secret Peri-Wink-le and CultNails Time Traveler for her hair, and white striper for her bow.
Mini Lalaloopsy!
Ava has a rather large collection of Lalaloopsy Dolls, but the mini's are my favorite.
What do you think? Any Lalaloopsy fans? Again if you'd like to see the tutorial, just YouTube Totallycoolsnails.

Have a great night!

Zoya Zuza, Kimber and Sally Hansen Ice Queen

Yay! So I finally got my Zoya Earthday shipment! Whoop Whoop! Today I have 2 of the polishes I was dying to receive.
Below is Kimber. It's a pink shimmery creme. I had anticipated a brighter pink but love
this color all the same. Below is 2 coats and I still had a little VNL.
Kimber 2 Coats
Oh Boy! Here is Zuza!  I love me some Zuza. It's a perfect shade for summer. It is a turquoisey-aqua with tons of shimmer. I actually only used one coat for these photos and had no VNL.

I used a little tape to do nail art on my accent nail. I used Kimber as the
accent color.
On my left hand I added a coat of Sally Hansen's Ice Queen. I have had this polish forever and never had anything to do with it, so I'm glad it looked so good over Zuza.
This photo is outside in the Sunny Sofla weather.
Did any of you grab Zuza or Kimber? Did any of you jump on the Earthday promo? If so, what did you get?

This polish is so damn pretty I almost couldn't take it off. The application of this polish was so smooth and the glitter just glided in place.
There really isn't much to say about All of Time and Space, the pictures do the talking. I loved the sparkle and pretty minty green base.I have such a hard time finding Nerd Lacquer's so it'll probably be a while before I stumble across another one.

Do you own any Nerd lacquers? Do you absolutely love them??? I do, and wish I owned every single gorgeous one!

You can try and see if you can score one of these bad boys at Harlow&Co, Nerd Lacquer's Etsy Shop,

Tinaandlucy Indie Polish!

Good Morning Ladies!!! This morning I have a new Indie Brand TinaAndLucy from Etsy! She is a Geologist that makes some seriously awesome nail polish! I ordered 3 and Love them! I should warn you this post is Pic Heavy!!!

These are the 3 I Ordered. Coral, Topaz, and Spinal.

Coral is a beautiful creme-ish "coral" shade with blue spinal glitter and pink hex glitter along
with tons of pretty blue micro-glitter! Below is 2 coats. It applied like a dream, and I had absolutely no
problem at all with the glitter as it went on flawlessly! No glitter digging in this bottle!
It's just so pretty! An awesome color combo. This photo is with flash.

Below is Topaz. I kicked myself in the ass for not trying this polish on my daughter, as she
has an awesome tan right now. My pasty complexion does not do this polish justice. Topaz is cremesicle orange base filled with light pink bar glitter and the prettiest square mirror-like glitter. Below is 2 coats.
This polish also went on very well and the glitter went exactly where I wanted it without
having to fool around with it.
2 Coats of Topaz with flash
Below is Spinal. I freakin love how this polish looks on my paws! Its a blue jelly filled with purple-ish-blue bar glitter and tons of micro-glitter. Below is 2 coats.
I could not capture the awesomeness that is Spinal with my camera.
This polish reminded me of Blue Jeans.  It's like my fingers are wearing pants. lol Seriously, it looks like a pair of blue jeans. Buy it and tell me different!
That is all for today Ladies! If you like what you see, go ahead and hit up TinaandLucy. She has a ton more colors and you must check her out even if just to oogle over her polish awesomeness!

Franken Me up

Hey Ladies! Sorry for my lack of posting recently! My finace and I took my daughter to Disney World for her 5th Birthday! Anyways today I have one of my many frankens. This polish is made completely from scratch. I took a clear base and added blue pigment for the base color. I then added blue and silver micro-glitter, small aqua, and orange hex glitter.
Below is 2 coats
2 Coats
The base was failrly thin, and not as "goopy" as other polishes I've made.
Flash
On my index and ring finger I applied 1 coat of Revlon Royal and topped with one Coat of my Franken.
On my middle and pinkie fingers I applied one coat of Finger Paints Tiffany Imposter, then 1 coat of my Franken.
So I named this Franken "Bitchface" in Honor of my numero uno "Bish" Ryan.
That's all for today Ladies!
Have you tried to make your own Franken or polish? Any success?
XOXO
